Over the past two decades Thai Maparn Trading Co., Ltd. has been the front- ranking company to export Thai Rice to the world markets. For the past five years, we have exported approximately 250,000 metric tons annually and become one of the top ten rice exporters from Thailand. Like other Thai Exporters, so far we have been purchasing the milled rice from small rice mills all over the country and then cleaning and improving the quality of rice to suit the required specifications with satisfactory condition before packing and delivering to our buyers. Quite often we faced difficulties in preparing ourselves to meet those set - out conditions and obtain rice of correct quality, quantity, uniform appearance etc.

To serve our clients from all over the world market better, we are investing US$35 million to establish the biggest and modern rice mill in ASIA on a site of 200 acres in Singburi, 139 kilometers north Bangkok. Singburi is in the heart of rice paddy plantation area in central THAILAND and will support the raw material requirements of the rice mill. The rice mill will be producing both WHITE RICE and PARBOILED RICE with its minimum capacity of 4,000 metric tons paddy or 2,500 metric tons milled rice per day or about 900,000 metric tons of milled rice per year. In addition, we have put up silos to store 90,000 metric tons of milled rice and 60,000 metric tons for stocking paddy.                As per schedule, we expect to commission the rice mill in the mid of January, 2004. Thereafter, we will be able to serve our clients even better in all aspects such as QUALITY, QUANTITY, DELIVERY TIME and BEST PRICE.
